History of Melitopol Bread Factory
Melitopol Bread Factory was founded in April 1961 in the industrial zone of Melitopol city, covering an area of 2.08 hectares. With a production capacity of 35 tons of bakery products per day, it effectively meets the local demand for consumers in the city and its vicinity. The transformation from a state enterprise to a public joint-stock company was in accordance with the decision of the Regional Department of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, made on June 27, 1996, numbered 983.
Experts at “Melitopol Bread Factory» continuously study leading industry enterprises in bakery and confectionery, placing a strong focus on production development and personnel advancement. Annually, the company undertakes measures to reconstruct, modernize, and automate production areas, introduce new technological processes, and launch new product lines. Today, it stands as a modern enterprise with highly mechanized and automated production, equipped with a certified laboratory, maintaining high-quality control standards for raw materials and finished products, and employing highly skilled personnel. To meet consumer needs and ensure product safety, quality, and competitiveness, the “Melitopol Bread Factory» obtained an HACCP certificate in 2018, which is regularly reconfirmed for compliance with this standard. Currently, the company produces over 80 types of bakery and confectionery products and stands as one of the largest enterprises in the city in bakery production.
